EXOTIC PETS
From time to time we are called on to attend to some interesting and wonderful exotic creatures and birds. Our RinaldoRiverside Veterinary Clinic specialises in this field and can be contacted on 031 563 6565. Together Dr. Kerry Easson treat exotics as well as small animals.
PAWsitive Puppy School has been run since November 2013 by Nikki de Freitas at La Lucia Vet, every Saturday at 6:30.
Puppies from 12 weeks of age (or after receiving their second vaccination) to 5 months of age undergo a 6-week course of basic puppy training and socialisation, which is important for a well-behaved and socially balanced puppy.
Experiences that happen to your puppy now can stay with them their whole life. It's important that you try to make every experience a good one.
All training techniques that are used are kind, fair, reward and correction-based. Classes are designed to be fun and rewarding for both the dog and owner. The classes are kept to a minimum to provide individual tuition and a relaxed environment.
